Founder and president of the MacDowell Company in Weston, Massachusetts, Roy MacDowell has an extensive career in real estate and now serves corporate, institutional, and residential clients around his native New England. Always seeking to give back, Roy MacDowell previously served on the Children's Hospital Boston Trust Board, and donated much of his time and money in an effort to advance patient care. Today, families, foundations, and individuals are giving back in new and exciting ways.

The Boston Children's Hospital Trust is the main resource for Boston Children's Hospital, working with families, individuals, and corporations to improve medical care for children in need. With extensive community outreach, the Trust organizes many fundraising initiatives each year for locals to give back to this incredible resource. While some still simply pledge donations, many exciting and social activities are are available in the Boston area for willing participants, from marathons to dog shows.

With all registration fees going to fight children's cancer, the TD Hub on Wheels event in September allows participants to ride up to 40 miles through gorgeous Boston neighborhoods. For those who would rather just relax with family and friends, the Kidding Around event is for those adults who want to spend a night acting like a kid, with games and candy infused cocktails; all proceeds support the hospital.
